Amritsar Conducts Blackout Drill as Part of Civil Defence Exercise

Shortly after a blackout in Amritsar as part of a nationwide civil defence mock drill, the district administration conducted another rehearsal, urging residents to stay indoors. The drill commenced around 1:30 a.m. The administration emphasized caution, requesting residents not to panic or gather outside, and keep exterior lights switched off. The drill occurred from 10:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and coincided with military operations targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan in response to the Pahalgam attack.
