Mumbai, Oct 11: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday brought exciting news! He said new technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, and digitisation are not just buzzwords but real game-changers. These tools are making businesses and government work more open, efficient, and fair. Speaking at the tech event 'HP Dream Unlocked' festival, Fadnavis explained, "Technology, digitisation and artificial intelligence have no geographical boundaries, so they do not know the difference between rich and poor, caste and language. That is why this technology can shape the ideas of every Indian." He stressed how these inventions can help farmers big time — reducing their losses, cutting costs, and boosting profits! The CM shared a fascinating story of an AI model that young techies built during the Agri-Hackathon in Pune. "The AI model created by the youth analyses air elements and warns farmers about pest attacks on crops. That this is truly a game-changer model," he said with pride. Around 40,000 young innovators took part in the Agri-Hackathon, and 40 top ideas were rewarded. The Maharashtra government is keen to partner with these bright minds to improve lives and uplift the economy. Fadnavis also announced grand plans for Maharashtra as a tech leader. The state will build an Innovation City in Navi Mumbai and attract investments for data centres. The government has set up a Digital Media Centre of Excellence with HP and now aims to open new doors for everyone to use AI freely. "The government has started a policy to adopt AI, making technology available for all to turn their ideas into reality," the CM said, urging people to embrace the future. In simple words, Maharashtra is racing ahead with technology, breaking barriers, and lighting up dreams. With AI and blockchain shaking up traditional ways, the future looks dazzling for farmers, businesses, and citizens alike!
