Vrindavan Saint Premanand Maharaj’s Health Rally: Facts, Dialysis & Prayers from All Faiths

October 14, 2025

Recently, social media was buzzing big time with worries about the health of Vrindavan’s beloved saint, Premanand Maharaj. A video showing his face swollen and red sparked concern among many devotees! But don’t panic yet. Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Parikar Shridham Vrindavan officially came out and said that Maharaj is doing well and sticking to his daily routine — though his usual early morning walks have been paused for now. They also asked everyone to stop spreading rumors about his health. But what did Premanand Maharaj say? In a heartfelt chat with YouTuber Elvish Yadav, Maharaj didn’t hold back: “Dono kidney fail hai, theek kya hona hai ab to jaana hai. Ab theek hone ko kuch nahi bacha.” This means both his kidneys have failed, and he calmly accepts his fate. According to ABP Live, he is getting full-day dialysis treatment. Many devotees have offered to donate kidneys, but Maharaj has said no, not wanting to put pain on others. Who is this revered soul? Born Anirudh Kumar Pandey in Sarsaul Block, Kanpur, he left home at age 13, becoming a sanyasi just like his grandfather. Initiated in the Radhavallabhi tradition with the Sharanagati Mantra, he rose to become one of the most popular spiritual leaders worldwide. Stars like Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Great Khali, Hema Malini, and Mohan Bhagwat have visited him at his peaceful Vrindavan ashram. The prayers are pouring in, crossing religious boundaries in a beautiful way. In a special video about 1 minute and 20 seconds long, a Muslim devotee named Sufiyan Allahabadi is standing on the holy land of Madina, hands raised high. He prays, “O Allah, please make India’s great saint Premanand Maharaj healthy soon, so that he can continue guiding his devotees.” The backdrop is the sacred mosque, making this prayer even more powerful. Sufiyan, who came all the way from Prayagraj—the land where the Ganga and Yamuna meet—shows a photo of Maharaj on his phone. He says, “Sant Premanand Maharaj is a very good person. We have come to know that he is unwell. We are in Khizra now. From here, we pray that Allah grants him health and wellness. We are from India and we also admire him. He is a true and good human being.” This touching moment is a reminder that when it comes to health and humanity, faiths unite! Devotees and well-wishers keep sending their prayers, hoping Premanand Maharaj recovers and stays blessed.
