Millions in US to Storm Streets for 'No Kings' Protests Backed by George Soros' Billions

October 18, 2025

Get ready, America! On Saturday, Washington D.C. and hundreds of other US cities are buzzing as millions gear up for the huge 'No Kings' protests. These rallies aim to slam President Donald Trump's government shutdown, tough immigration moves, and what critics say are his heavy-handed ways. But wait – there’s a spicy secret in this protest masala! Fresh news shows billionaire George Soros is pouring loads of money into this fight. The spotlight shines on Soros's $32 billion Open Society Foundations (OSF), the giant that fuels many causes, The Daily Mail reports. Who’s funding this massive wave? The answer is the Open Society Foundations, a major force behind the cash flow to 'No Kings.' Records reveal OSF handed out $7.6 million to Indivisible, one of three key progressive groups driving the protests. Indivisible counts on this big money, which includes a hefty $3 million grant in 2023 from the Open Society Action Fund to back its social welfare activities. Matthew Palumbo, who’s writing a book about Soros’s son Alex, said, "In total, the OSF has awarded nearly $8 million to the Indivisible Project from 2017-2023. Despite Alex trying to portray himself as a moderate face, he clearly has no problem associating with a protest whose other sponsors include the Democratic Socialists of America, among other radical groups." But the money story doesn’t stop there! The foundation’s website states that Soros has gifted more than $32 billion of his own fortune to OSF causes. Alex Soros chairs the board now. On the protest side, Indivisible’s leaders are Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg, a power couple steering the show. Also spotlighted in this drama is Tides Advocacy, linked to a controversial Tides Foundation, which funneled $350,000 to Indivisible back in 2017. Texas Senator Ted Cruz fired off a warning this week: "There's considerable evidence that George Soros and his network are behind funding these rallies, which may well be riots all across the country." So what’s the scale? Organizers say more than 2,600 protests will light up the country from New York’s busy streets to San Diego’s sun-soaked avenues, celebrating what they call No Kings Day. This follows a massive June 14 action that rocked all 50 states with 2,000 rallies and five million voices, coinciding with a military parade in DC and President Trump's 79th birthday. Good news — those were mostly peaceful. This giant protest movement is led by a coalition of over 200 groups. Key players include Indivisible, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the 50501 Movement, Public Citizen, and mighty unions like the American Federation of Teachers and Service Employees International Union. They get powerful backup from partners such as MoveOn, Human Rights Campaign, United We Dream, Common Defense, League of Conservation Voters, National Nurses United, and Reproductive Freedom for All. The No Kings protests are full of excitement, powerful voices, and deep pockets. What will this massive wave mean for the US political scene? Only time will tell — but the streets are ready to show their roar!
