Air Traffic Movements (ATMs) soared by 16.20 per cent, jumping from 7,956 in H1 last year to 9,245 this year. International flights got wings with a 14.32 per cent boost totaling 2,218 flights, and domestic ATMs shot up by 17.70 per cent to 6,933! Plus, 94 chartered flights took off and landed during these six months. Travelers had their pick of destinations – Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi topped the charts during the festive Dasara season, with Hyderabad and Chennai close behind. On the international front, Dubai and Abu Dhabi were the shining stars, drawing the most travelers. So, with passenger numbers climbing and flights buzzing, Mangaluru International Airport isn’t just flying; it’s soaring into the future!
