On a vibrant Wednesday, October 22, 2025, Sangareddy saw a fantastic health camp just for the families of police personnel. This was no ordinary camp! Doctors from 13 different medical fields came together, providing expert care and advice. The camp was a team effort by Sangareddy Police, Indian Medical Association (IMA), and the MNJ Institute of Oncology and Regional Cancer Centre. Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narsimha kicked off the event with powerful promises. Speaking warmly, he said the Government plans to set up a "dialysis centre for every 30 kilometres." Imagine getting help with kidney problems so near, it’s almost at your doorstep! Plus, he shared a thrilling plan to spot accident-prone areas and build 80 trauma care centres. This means swift help within what doctors call the "golden hour" — the first hour after an accident, crucial for saving lives. And there's more good news! The Minister told everyone, "chemotherapy is being offered at cancer day care centres set up in all districts." This means cancer patients can access important cancer-fighting treatments without long travels. The event was brightened by key guests like Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation’s chairperson Nirmala Jaggareddy, district Superintendent of Police Paritosh Pankaj, Collector P Pravinya, and members of the IMA. Their presence showed strong support for health and safety in the community. This health camp wasn’t just a check-up event; it was a promise of better, faster medical care for those who serve the state and their families. Sangareddy is leading the way in bringing health closer and making sure no patient waits too long for urgent help!
