The buzz about a new Trump-Putin meet-up is not dead yet! On Thursday, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told the media that a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin "is not completely off the table." She said, "I think the president and the entire administration hopes that one day that can happen again but we want to make sure that there's a tangible positive outcome out of that meeting." This comes after Trump canceled a planned talk with Putin just a day earlier because there was no progress in diplomatic efforts to stop the Ukraine war. According to Trump’s statement on Wednesday, without any steps forward on peace, the meeting made no sense. The world is watching closely as these big leaders consider talking again. The White House clearly expects that if the meeting happens, it must bring positive results. In the tense atmosphere of the Ukraine conflict, every word and gesture counts.
