Maharashtra BJP Chief Bawankule Clarifies Statement; Assures 'Best Possible Deal' for Farmers

After an audio clip of Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule urging party workers to 'empty the Congress' went viral, he clarified that his statement was distorted. He stated that BJP is open to Congress workers who seek the State's development. On another note, Revenue Minister Bawankule assured protesting farmers of a fair deal in the proposed airport project. The situation arose after a drone survey for the airport led to protests in Pune.
