New Delhi: The much-awaited summer placements at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) for the PGP Class of 2027 kicked off with a bang! The first cluster saw heavyweights like Accenture Strategy (India Market Unit & Global Network), Boston Consulting Group (BCG), McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, and Kearney leading the pack with the highest number of offers. The consulting arena was buzzing with top firms such as Alvarez & Marsal, EY Parthenon, Kepler Cannon, LEK Consulting India Pvt Ltd, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Strategy&, Vector Consulting Group, and YCP Auctus also hunting for talent. It was like a consulting carnival! Goldman Sachs and Standard Chartered Bank dominated the investment banking and markets space, bringing exciting opportunities to the students. Who wouldn’t want to make their mark with these banking giants? But wait, there’s more! The dynamic world of Private Equity and Venture Capital also saw fierce participation. Firms such as Ares Management, Blackstone Group, Faering Capital, Gaja Capital, Multiples Alternate Asset Management, Piramal Alternatives, and Premji Invest joined the recruitment party. On the financial advisory front, companies like American Express, Cranmore Partners, and Synergy Consulting were busy picking the sharpest minds. The placement process covered six vibrant cohorts: - Management Consulting - Transformation & Operations Consulting - Advisory Consulting - Cards & Financial Advisory - Investment Banking & Markets - Private Equity/Venture Capital, Asset Management & Hedge Funds The event was run in a hybrid style – with companies joining online and offline – making it accessible and flexible for all. More than 80 exciting roles were on offer, and the cherry on top? International roles from Goldman Sachs (Hong Kong/Singapore), HSBC (Hong Kong), and Strategy& (Middle East) added global flavor to the opportunity buffet. But the excitement is not over yet!
