Get ready, Bihar! The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is shaking up the election scene with its flashy manifesto. Unveiled in Patna by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar alongside BJP’s JP Nadda and other heavyweights, the manifesto sparkles with grand promises ahead of the big assembly polls. Under the catchy slogan “Vikas aur Vishwas” (Development and Trust), the NDA vows to create a whopping 20 lakh new jobs across government and private sectors. That’s not all! Nitish Kumar proudly said, “Our government has delivered on promises of good governance, women’s empowerment, and social development. In the next term, we will ensure every youth gets an opportunity to build a bright future in Bihar.” This sounds like a roadmap to prosperity! On the welfare front, the NDA promises to add 50 lakh more pucca houses, expand women’s self-help groups, and modernize schools and technical institutions. There’s even a new start-up scheme to boost youth entrepreneurship. However, the drama of election promises continues as the opposition Mahagathbandhan, led by Tejashwi Yadav, fights back with its own manifesto focused on 10 lakh government jobs, skill development, and social justice. Tejashwi slammed the NDA by calling joblessness Bihar’s biggest problem and promises special laws for backward classes and more reservation. Political experts see a clear fight: NDA banks on its track record and big dreams of growth, while Mahagathbandhan pushes for change and tackling unemployment.
