Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, the king of the Indian car market, showed some serious fire in October 2025! The company announced a handsome 7% rise in total sales to 2,20,894 units. That’s up from 2,06,434 units sold in October last year. Hold on, there’s more! The total domestic sales, including commercial vehicles, soared to a jaw-dropping all-time high of 1,80,675 units — a rise of 10.75% compared to 1,63,130 units in October 2024. Domestic passenger vehicle sales didn’t just grow, they zoomed ahead to 1,76,318 units from 1,59,591 units, marking a solid 10.48% jump. Maruti Suzuki also sold 8,915 units to other vehicle makers like Toyota Kirloskar, and their exports touched a notable 31,304 units. Now, let’s get into the details of the car types. The mini car segment, which includes the lively Alto and the spunky S-Presso, took a small hit, dropping to 9,067 units from 10,687 units last year. But the compact cars were the true star performers! Models like the Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, and WagonR revved up sales to 76,143 units from 65,948 units — a fantastic jump. Utility vehicles were no less impressive. Maruti’s lineup with names like Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris, and XL6 revved up to 77,571 units sold in October 2025, up from 70,644 units the year before. Last but not least, the ever-reliable van Eeco also rolled out 13,537 units this year, climbing from 11,653 units last October. What a sweet ride for Maruti Suzuki, smashing records and steering ahead in India’s car market!
