The disciplinary action committee of Telangana Congress has suspended party leader Raavi Srinivas for six years due to his involvement in anti-party activities. Srinivas, who contested in the 2023 assembly election from the Sirpur constituency on a Congress ticket, finished fourth in the polls. The committee, headed by Congress MP Mallu Ravi, carefully reviewed complaints, proofs, and Srinivas' response before making the decision. TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud highlighted that internal disturbances within the party in the undivided Warangal district will be addressed soon. The committee also looked into complaints lodged by Congress MLAs and MLCs against endowment minister Konda Surekha and her husband, Konda Murali. This disciplinary action signifies the party's commitment to maintaining discipline and unity.
