On December 7, 2025, a Bajrang Dal procession in Haridwar's Jwalapur area faced stone pelting, officials confirmed. The Shaurya Yatra, which started from three locations, was attacked at Ram Chowk in the evening. Some Bajrang Dal workers even brought a bulldozer amid rising tensions. Police and administration teams reached quickly to stop the violence and assured strong action. Bajrang Dal state president Anuj Walia said, "Law and order have completely deteriorated in Haridwar, and the attacks on religious processions demonstrate the failure of the administration." Haridwar City Superintendent of Police Abhay Pratap Singh said a case is being registered against unidentified people. He added that strict legal steps will follow after reviewing video evidence.
