Kurnool DIG Opens Rakshak Fuel Station in Adoni; Profits Aid Police Welfare

Kurnool Range Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Koya Praveen and District Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikrant Patil on Thursday inaugurated the Rakshak fuel station at Adoni.
DIG Koya Praveen said, "The HPCL fuel station was opened to provide quality and unadulterated fuel to the consumers." He added, "The profit generated from the fuel station would be given to the Police Welfare Fund."
Mr. Praveen also mentioned that the HPCL and Police department teamed up to open such fuel stations. "The first one was opened in the 6th Battalion in DGP office at Mangalagiri in combined Andhra Pradesh. Such fuel stations are already operational in Kakinada, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and other places."
After the inauguration, SP Vikrant Patil conducted the annual inspection of Adoni I Town police station. He reviewed pending cases, investigations, and other records.
The SP instructed police personnel to focus on drunken driving and drinking in public places. He urged them to take special interest in solving property offences and recovering stolen property.
Mr. Vikrant Patil said, "Increase visible policing and create awareness about cybercrimes and crimes against women."
