Armed Men Steal 13 Paintings Including Matisse Works in São Paulo Heist

Two armed men stole at least 13 paintings from a library in São Paulo, Brazil. The stolen items include eight engravings by the famous French artist Henri Matisse. Authorities announced on Monday they had found the suspects' escape vehicle. They also arrested one of the suspects. Local officials are working with Interpol to recover the artworks. The goal is to stop the paintings from being taken out of the country. CCTV footage shows the suspects fleeing on foot with the stolen paintings.
