During a special combing operation led by RSASTF Head L. Subbarayudu and SP P. Srinivas, officials found axes and saws with the suspects. The operation was headed by Railway Kodur Sub-Control Reserve Inspector Krupananda with support from Armed Reserve and local Forest staff. When the team arrived, a group tried to escape. Two were caught, while others fled. The arrested men are from Jamunamathur, Tamil Nadu, and were taken to Tirupati RSASTF police station where a case was filed.
