The 38th Hyderabad Book Fair will take place from December 19 to 29 at the NTR Stadium. Organisers have planned the event as a vibrant celebration of books. There will be 365 stalls filled with books and a variety of literary and cultural programmes. These sessions are designed to encourage reading as a social and cultural habit, going beyond just buying and selling books. This year, the fair will offer a festival-like atmosphere especially for children. The organisers have named the fairgrounds and stages after well-known personalities who have contributed to literature and culture. The entire venue will be called Praja Kavi Andesri Premises. The main stage is named after creative artist Anishetty Rajitha. The book launch stage will be called Kompally Venkat Goud. The Writers’ Point is named after Professor S. V. Ramarao, while the Media Point carries the name of Swetcha Votarkar. The fair promises a strong focus on the love of books and the joy of reading for everyone who visits.
