Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has announced clear rules for decorating vehicles during the National Day celebrations from December 14 to 20, 2025. These rules allow festive decorations but focus on safety and traffic laws. Drivers can decorate their vehicles within this period but must follow important restrictions. Vehicles cannot have tinted or coloured front or rear windshields. The driver’s side and front passenger windows must remain clear and untinted. Also, the vehicle’s original color should not be changed or covered with a different base paint for the celebrations. Decorations should not cover front or rear licence plates. This keeps vehicles identifiable by the authorities. Stickers or written messages placed on vehicles must relate only to Qatar National Day. Any unrelated messages are banned. The Ministry of Interior stresses that all drivers must comply with these rules. Following them helps keep roads safe and ensures a fun, legal way to enjoy the vibrant National Day festivities.
