A tragic minivan crash in Muckatah, northern Victoria, claimed four lives and seriously injured six others on Monday evening. The vehicle, carrying nine passengers, hit a tree on Chapel Road around 5pm. Four passengers died instantly and have not yet been identified. Three children were airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. The driver and one passenger also suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital by road. Police detectives are on their way to the crash site to investigate the cause. The circumstances of the accident remain unclear.
