The Thrissur Cyber Police have filed a case against Martin Antony, the second accused and a convict in the Kerala actor rape case. He is charged with posting a video on social media that reveals the survivor’s name. The video was shared on Martin's Facebook page while he was out on bail. It started spreading widely after the Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court convicted the first six accused earlier this month. The video not only names the survivor but also makes serious allegations against the probe team. The survivor petitioned the Chief Minister, demanding action against those who circulated the video, calling it a violation of her privacy. Following this, the Thrissur Cyber Police registered the case. Martin Antony is now serving his sentence in Viyyur Central Jail, Thrissur. Police have identified about 30 social media accounts that shared the clip, and those users may also face charges, including under the IT Act.
