Chandigarh, the joint capital of Punjab and Haryana, had a minimum of 7.9 degrees Celsius. In Haryana, Ambala saw a low of 10.4 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal. Hisar’s temperature fell to 9.5 degrees Celsius. Karnal recorded 10.2 degrees, Narnaul 5.1 degrees, and Rohtak, Bhiwani, and Sirsa logged lows of 9.2, 6, and 7.6 degrees Celsius, respectively. The chilly weather and foggy conditions are expected to continue, affecting visibility and daily life in both states.
