Borra Suresh Babu, General Manager of HCL Technologies in Gannavaram and president of the AI Club, urged students to embrace emerging technology trends to stay relevant. He spoke at the first session of ‘Blitzkrieg’, organised by the Computer Science Students’ Union of P. B. Siddhartha College of Arts and Science at Siddhartha Auditorium on Friday. "Continuous upskilling was essential to stay competitive in the technology-driven world," said Mr. Suresh Babu. The day-long event included competitions and cultural programmes. Many students joined paper and poster presentations, technical quizzes, coding and decoding contests, a treasure hunt, spot photography, and Mr. and Miss Blitzkrieg. College Principal Meka Ramesh, Computer Science Head T. S. Ravi Kiran, Vice-Head Koneru Sudhir, and Dean Rajesh Jampala encouraged students to deepen their computer science knowledge. They said the field had changed the modern world fundamentally. Event co-coordinator and Head of Placement Training Cell, Kavuri Sridhar, said, "Blitzkrieg" has run every year since 2006 to boost creativity and technical skills among computer science students through many contests.
