Palace Flower Show 2025 Opens With 25,000+ Flowers and Cultural Events at Mysuru Palace

The Palace Flower Show 2025 started at Mysuru Palace on the evening of December 21. The show includes more than 25,000 flower pots. These pots hold a variety of flowers like roses, chrysanthemums, carnations, gerberas, orchids, anthuriums, and lilies. The exhibition is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. until December 31. A special feature this year is a flower-decorated Preamble of the Indian Constitution designed as a book. Another attraction is a floral replica of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham. From December 21 to 25, cultural programmes will be held on the palace grounds from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The palace will be lit beautifully every evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. On the last day, December 31, a police band will perform from 11 p.m. to midnight to celebrate the New Year, followed by eco-friendly fireworks. The inauguration saw the presence of important figures including former Minister and MLA Tanveer Sait, MLA T.S. Srivatsa, MLC D. Thimmaiah, Mysuru Deputy Commissioner G. Lakshmikanth Reddy, Zilla Panchayat CEO Yukesh Kumar, and Deputy Director of Mysuru Palace Board Subramanya.
