The Ukkunagaram Sri Sathya Sai Mandir in Sector–2 of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant's township celebrated its silver jubilee on Sunday, December 21. The temple started as a bhajan centre in 1991 and became a full spiritual and service centre by 2000. Important guests included Sri Sathya Sai District Collector A. Shyam Prasad, State president R. Lakshmana Rao of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, and district president P.R.S.N. Naidu. G. Ramakrishna, convener of the Samithi, shared a report on 25 years of the temple's spiritual and service work. Mr. Shyam Prasad stated, "Humility and selfless service are the hallmark of SSSSO." Mr. Lakshmana Rao highlighted that the samithi shows Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s message: "Service to Man is Service to God." Mr. Naidu praised the temple's work for the poor, orphans, elderly, disabled, and students.
