Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport faced major flight disruptions on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, due to dense fog and low visibility. At least 10 flights were cancelled, including 6 arrivals and 4 departures, an official confirmed. More than 270 flights were delayed, with the average delay for departures recorded at 29 minutes, according to flight tracker Flightradar24.com. Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), the airport operator, posted on X: "Visibility at the airport is improving; however, flight departures for certain destinations may experience delay." The massive airport normally manages around 1,300 flight movements daily. Passengers are advised to check flight status ahead of travel as conditions improve gradually.
