The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has launched several new bus routes to improve connections between Hyderabad’s suburbs and the IT Corridor. This initiative enhances east-west city travel and offers direct access from residential areas to major commercial and IT centers. Sudha Parimala, Hyderabad Region Manager at TGSRTC, said the new routes will reduce travel time and improve last-mile connectivity. "They will also provide dependable public transport for daily commuters travelling across the city," she added. Key routes introduced include: - Route 156/316 operating between L.B. Nagar and Gachibowli via Dilsukhnagar, Koti, Mehdipatnam, Langar Houz, Narsingi Crossroads, Kokapet Crossroads, GAR, Infosys, and IIIT. - Route 300/316 connecting Hayathnagar to Gachibowli through L.B. Nagar, Champapet, Bandlaguda, Aramghar, Hyderguda, Langar Houz, Narsingi Crossroads, Kokapet Crossroads, GAR, Infosys, and IIIT. This provides direct, seamless access from eastern suburbs to IT and commercial zones. - Route 316K links Aramghar to Gachibowli passing dairy Farm, Hyderguda, Langar Houz, Bapughat, Suncity, TSPA Junction, Kokapet Crossroads, and Nanakramguda Crossroads. - Route 593/316L connects Chevella to Gachibowli via Moinabad, Manchirevula Crossroads, Narsingi Crossroads, and Kokapet Crossroads. Ms. Parimala confirmed buses will run frequently with timings suited for office-goers, covering wider stops. She also mentioned plans to connect more suburbs and nearby mofussil areas are being considered. This development marks a focused effort by TGSRTC to boost public transport options and ease daily commutes across Hyderabad. The new routes took effect from December 23, 2025.
