Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday unveiled the poster for the South India Rocketry Challenge–2026. This new competition aims to help school and college students develop rocket-making skills. It is organised for the first time under the Science City of Andhra Pradesh in Amaravati. The finals will be held from January 22 to 24 at Vignan University in Guntur. The challenge encourages innovation, scientific thinking, and hands-on learning. It offers a platform for students to show their creativity and technical skills in aerospace fields. Interested students can register through the Andhra Pradesh Science City website. Officials told the Chief Minister that the challenge includes Chemical Rocketry contests for college students and Hydro Rocketry contests for school students. Participants aged 16 and above can compete in Chemical Rocketry. Children aged 6 to 12 can join the Hydro Rocketry category. The poster release took place at the Secretariat. BC Welfare Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy and Special Chief Secretary M.T. Krishna Babu were present.
