The Kerala High Court cleared 1.09 lakh cases in 2025. This marks a 6% increase from 1.02 lakh cases disposed in 2024. Justice P.V. Kunhikrishnan topped the list by disposing of 15,026 cases in 2025. Despite the progress, many cases remain pending. There are 2.07 lakh civil cases waiting to be resolved. Out of these, 1.47 lakh have been pending for over a year. For criminal cases, 50,785 are still pending, with 34,835 delayed for more than a year. The data highlights both progress and ongoing challenges for the Kerala High Court.
