Saudi Arabia to Get Rain and Winter Chill From December 23 to 31
December 25, 2025
Saudi Arabia will experience unsettled weather with rainfall and colder winter temperatures from December 23 to 31, the National Centre for Meteorology has announced. This forecast covers many regions such as Makkah, Asir, Al-Baha, Jazan, Madinah, Riyadh, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, the Eastern Province, and the Northern Borders. The centre used the Saudi Numerical Model to predict these changes but did not specify how strong the rain might be, as conditions could vary by location. Recently, temperatures have dropped widely across the kingdom, especially in northern and central areas, signaling the start of winter. The National Centre for Meteorology advises people to stay alert and keep checking official weather reports because weather patterns might shift during this period. "Conditions could change and weather systems may continue to develop during the forecast period," the centre cautioned. Residents should take note and prepare accordingly.
