Two Arrested for Using Electronic Devices in University of Hyderabad Recruitment Exam

Two candidates were caught cheating during a University of Hyderabad non-teaching recruitment exam on December 21, 2025. The accused, Anil Kumar and Satish from Haryana, were found using prohibited electronic devices like mobile phones, microphones, and Bluetooth earphones during the test for Junior Office Assistant. The exam was held at the University of Hyderabad in Gachibowli. This came to light following a complaint by Devesh Nigam, the Registrar of the university. Police arrested the suspects and presented them in court, which sent them to judicial custody. The electronic gadgets have been seized, and further investigations are ongoing.
