Andhra Pradesh Revises Land Survey Numbers for Amaravati Institutions
December 25, 2025
The Andhra Pradesh Government issued new orders revising survey numbers linked to land allotments in Amaravati's Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) area. The updates came through G.O.Ms.No.277 on December 24, 2025, from the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department.
These changes followed a review of an earlier order (G.O.Ms.No.226 from November 12, 2025) and recommendations from the 20th Group of Ministers. Principal Secretary S. Suresh Kumar said, "the matter was subsequently examined by the APCRDA Authority in its 55th meeting held on December 4 which authorised the Commissioner, APCRDA, to carry out necessary corrections in the survey numbers and seek government approval."
The government approved specific modifications in survey numbers but clarified that the original land allotment sizes and conditions remain the same.
The revised orders include land allotments for 11 institutions spread over 49.50 acres. Additionally, changes to previously allotted land total 42.30 acres for six other institutions. The order also grants 12.66 acres of residential land for banks and government bodies, with further adjustments involving 16.29 acres related to allotments made between 2014 and 2019.
The government has authorised the Commissioner of APCRDA in Vijayawada to proceed with necessary actions under Amaravati Land Allotment Rules and Regulations of 2017.
