Security staff at Cubbon Park Metro Station caught a 21-year-old private firm employee, Mohammed Suhail, carrying a live bullet during a routine check on Tuesday. Suhail, from Chikkamagaluru, was trying to enter the station when his baggage was searched and the bullet was found. He was detained and handed over to Commercial Street Police. Assistant Sub-Inspector G.N. Lokesh filed a complaint, leading to charges under the Arms Act, 1959. Suhail told police he got the bullet from a friend, a hairdresser in Chikkamagaluru, and kept it as a keepsake. The seized bullet was sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory for analysis.
