Speeding Car Crash Kills Woman, Injures Five Near Pedda Golconda on Outer Ring Road

A tragic accident occurred early morning on November 26, 2025, on Outer Ring Road near Pedda Golconda. A speeding SUV crashed into a divider, resulting in the death of 31-year-old homemaker Kothagadi Shirisha from Sangareddy. She was thrown out of the vehicle and died on the spot due to severe head and body injuries.
Five others in the car were seriously hurt. Among them were Shirisha’s 10-year-old daughter Sandhya and 9-year-old daughter Veeramani, along with Sandhya, aged 36, Veeramani, 45, and Sharada, 40. They were rushed to a hospital in Shamshabad for treatment.
The group was traveling from Sangareddy to a meditation center in Kadthal. Police said the SUV with registration 'AP 28 R 2727' left Sangareddy around 3:30 a.m. Around 4:50 a.m., the driver allegedly lost control due to high speed and crashed into the road divider.
Shamshabad police arrested the 25-year-old driver, Mohammed Arshad, who hails from Sangareddy. The early probe suggests the old vehicle’s steering might have locked, causing the driver to lose control.
A case of causing death by negligence has been filed. The police continue their investigation. Arkathala Mahesh Kumar, Shirisha’s younger brother, described the shock of finding her dead after the accident.
