Ernakulam Police Book Manager and Customers After Knife Threat at Fried Chicken Outlet

Ernakulam Central police have registered two cases related to a disturbance at a fried chicken outlet on MG Road on Tuesday. The manager, Joshua Ansal, 30, was booked after he allegedly waved a knife at a group of customers unhappy with the amount of chicken in their order. The customers, visiting for the Central School Sports Meet, complained about the quantity and were reportedly threatened. Ansal was charged with wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation. Meanwhile, four customers have been booked for manhandling the manager. Charges against them include house trespass, voluntarily causing hurt, obscene acts in public places, and wrongful restraint. The manager was booked following a complaint by Muhammad Nasmal, 28, from Thrissur, regarding an incident involving Nasmal's younger brother. The police continue to investigate the incident.
