Indian Institute of Technology-Gorakhpur has won the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC). The contest was held at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's Amritapuri campus. IIT Roorkee finished second. IIT Delhi took third place. The competition lasted two days and was very challenging. The event began with a special ceremony. Speakers included Veronika Soboleva, ICPC Global Foundation Development Director; Jaidevitya Kemani, JetBrains Development Advocate; Dr. Rajan; and Dr. Prema Nedungadi. The ICPC is open to any student who loves coding. Teams of three from universities worldwide compete to solve difficult algorithm problems within a set time. This contest tests skill, speed, and teamwork on a global stage.
