Mettu Saikumar, Chairman of the Fisheries Corporation, strongly criticized the BRS leadership on Monday. Speaking at a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, he said the party's leaders have undermined Telangana's ideology and shown arrogance towards the State. Saikumar specifically pointed to former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao and BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao. He said, “How can Mr. Chandrashekhar Rao abstain from the Assembly as a responsible Leader of the Opposition. Its a misfortune for Telangana.” Saikumar also alleged that the BRS leaders humiliated activists who fought for Telangana's statehood. He warned that the people's anger will not go unanswered. According to him, the public is ready to defeat BRS in the next elections whenever they happen.
