January 5, 2026
The Telangana Housing Board received an overwhelming response for its single-bedroom flats in Gachibowli, made for Lower Income Group (LIG) applicants. A total of 2,685 applications came in for just 111 flats. These flats are priced between ₹26 lakh and ₹36.20 lakh. Only people with a monthly income below ₹50,000 were allowed to apply.
The board will hold the allotment lottery on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. For public safety and space reasons, the lottery will not be open to the public at the venue. Instead, it will be streamed live on YouTube and other digital platforms. The lottery process will also be video recorded.
