Dubai’s popular family spot, Global Village, is ready to open its 30th season on Friday, January 9, 2025. The big highlight is a massive drone show featuring 3,000 drones lighting up the night sky at 7:15pm. Organizers say this will be the “most spectacular” drone show yet, with moving images and beautiful shapes floating above the international pavilions. The show also marks the start of the Wonderers’ Kids Fest. This festival runs daily from 4pm to 10pm until February 15. It offers fun games and activities for children aged 3 to 12 at no extra cost beyond the regular ticket price. Kids can enjoy games like a world record Snakes and Ladders, giant four-in-a-row, and Battleship, focusing on teamwork and fun. Global Village’s Season 30 will stay open until May 10, 2026, before it closes for the hot summer months. Ticket prices are Dh25 on weekdays and Dh30 on all days except public holidays. Entry is free for children under 3, seniors over 65, and people of determination. Visitors can enjoy live shows, cultural programs, shopping, rides, and global cuisines. A new augmented reality attraction called The Wonderverse will also debut this season, mixing technology with traditional fun. Global Village is a must-visit winter destination in Dubai.
