The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) has kicked off online applications for the Telangana Gurukul Common Entrance Test (TGCET) 2026. This is for admissions in the academic year 2026-27. Applications are open for Class 5 admissions in TGSWREIS and related institutions, such as Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Institutions Society (TGTWREIS), Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Telangana Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (MJPTBCWREIS), and TREI Society. Admissions for Classes 6 to 9 are also available in schools under TGSWREIS, TGTWREIS, and MJPTBCWREIS. The application window began on December 11, 2025, and will end on January 21, 2026. Officials have emphasized that the deadline will not be extended.
