The White House has not confirmed these claims but sparked questions about a sonic weapon. A Venezuelan guard told the New York Post the attack started without warning: “We were on guard, but suddenly all our radar systems shut down without any explanation.” Soon, dozens of drones and a few helicopters appeared. Then about 20 US troops arrived. Despite their smaller numbers, the Americans took quick control.
