Veteran Lingayat leader and former Minister Bheemanna Khandre, aged 102, is stable. He has been treated for age-related ailments like breathing problems and blood pressure swings. He spent nearly two weeks in a private hospital in Bidar. After a brief health dip, he moved home to Bhalki to continue treatment, as per his wish. A medical team provides continuous care with oxygen support. His son and Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre said, "My father’s condition has since stabilised and it is being closely monitored." He urged the public not to believe rumors on social media and asked well-wishers to pray for Bheemanna Khandre’s fast recovery.
