Sankranti Mahotsavams End with Grand Pujas at Srisailam Temple

The seven-day Sankranti Mahotsavams ended on January 18, 2026, at the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam. In the morning, temple priests performed special pujas to Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba. The evening featured the 'Aswa Vahana seva' for the processional deities. Later, a grand "Pushpotsvam" ceremony was held using 20 types of colorful flowers like roses, chrysanthemums, and lilies, along with 11 kinds of fruits such as lemon, orange, guava, apple, dates, and pineapple. At night, “Ekanta Seva” marked the festival's conclusion. Lakhs of devotees enjoyed smooth, hassle-free darshan during the seven days. The temple management, led by Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao, arranged all facilities to ensure comfort for the devotees.
