Congress has announced the appointment of Ministers and senior leaders as in-charge officials for Parliamentary Constituencies in Telangana, focused on the upcoming Municipal Elections 2026. The announcement came as Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy left for Davos, Switzerland, to attend the World Economic Forum from January 20 to 23. After Davos, he will proceed to Harvard University for the ‘Leadership for the 21st Century’ program at Kennedy School of Government from January 25 to 30. These appointed Ministers will oversee election preparations, coordination, and campaign strategies in their designated constituencies. Government Advisor Podduturi Sudarshan Reddy is assigned to Adilabad (ST), Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy to Malkajgiri, and Duddilla Sridhar Babu to Chevella. Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao will manage Karimnagar, while Konda Surekha supervises Khammam. Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar is in-charge of Mahabubabad (ST), Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha manages Mahabubnagar, and Minorities Minister Mohd Azharuddin looks after Zaheerabad. Labour Minister Vivek Venkataswamy will handle Medak, Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari Nagarkurnool (SC), and SC Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar Nalgonda. Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka (D. Anasuya) covers Bhongir, Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy oversees Nizamabad, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy handles Warangal (SC), and Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao supervises Peddapalli. The in-charges have been told to work closely with local leaders, elected representatives, and party workers to secure a strong win for Congress in the upcoming municipal polls expected this February.
