Kolanu Bharathi Temple, the only temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati in the state, is readying for the Vasantha Panchami festival on January 23, 2026. The temple is located in Sivapuram village, Atmakur taluk. It is a sub-temple of the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple. Officials and priests from the Srisailam Temple visited Kolanu Bharathi Temple to check the preparations. They supervised the queue line arrangements and the facilities for the mass 'Aksharabyasam,' a traditional ritual for children performed on this auspicious day. The team also reviewed the drinking water supply, annaprasadam arrangements, parking facilities, and other logistical needs to ensure a smooth celebration.
