The Karnataka Information Commission raised concerns about 17 all-in-one computers supplied by KEONICS that did not meet required specifications, particularly missing cameras. Only 5 out of 22 computers supplied met the standards. The commission said online case hearings would be hurt without proper equipment. KEONICS has agreed to replace the 17 computers with those that meet the specifications as soon as possible. KEONICS has issued a show-cause notice to Intellic Systems, the vendor responsible for supplying the computers. The notice states that Intellic Systems delivered a non-empanelled model, different from the approved one, breaching contract terms and technical requirements. The vendor responded by saying it supplied a higher-end model because the approved model was out of stock globally. They promised to supply the correct model soon. Intellic Systems also said they stopped installing the 17 computers after finding they lacked cameras.
