Members of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Belagavi are set to host the Hare Krishna Ratha Yatra Mahotsav on January 24 and 25. The event will feature an hour-long drama about Lord Krishna’s pastimes. Devotees will enjoy bhajans, kirtans, and aarti on both days. A bullock cart competition adds a lively touch to the festivities. Participants will also join in a rangoli drawing event. Exhibits will showcase items made from gou mutra (cow’s milk) and cow dung. Several spiritual leaders are expected to attend, including Sri Lokanath Swami Maharaj, Sri Sundar Chaitanya Swami Maharaj, Sri Dayal Chand Prabhu, and Sri Bhakti Rasamrita Swami Maharaj. The famous Ratha Yatra procession is scheduled for January 24. All events will take place on the ground behind the ISKCON temple in Shukrawar Peth at Tilakwadi.
