Gulfood 2026 Doubles in Size, Runs at Two Dubai Venues for First Time
January 26, 2026
For the first time in 31 years, Gulfood has outgrown its usual location. Starting January 26, Gulfood 2026 operates at two places: Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the new Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) in Expo City Dubai. This doubles the space to 280,000 square metres.
More than 8,500 exhibitors from 195 countries will display 1.5 million food and drink products. DWTC will host core categories like Meat, Dairy, and Beverages. DEC focuses on new sectors like World Food, Rice, Pulses, Gulfood Fresh, Logistics, and Grocery Trade.
Gulfood began in 1987 with 65 exhibitors from 13 countries and 1,600 visitors. It grew from a regional fair to the world’s top food trade platform. In 2005, it switched to an annual event to meet rising global demand.
The Dubai Metro Red Line now links the two venues smoothly, beating Dubai’s traffic. Spreading out the event reduces crowding and long lines, giving buyers and sellers more space and a better experience.
Daily hours are 10 AM to 6 PM from Monday to Thursday and 10 AM to 5 PM on Friday. This new setup not only doubles the size but also shows Dubai’s strength in handling the world’s biggest trade shows with ease.
