On January 27, students and teachers from Christ University, Bengaluru, experienced Mysuru's rich heritage through a special program by INTACH Mysuru chapter. The program aimed to engage youth in protecting the city’s heritage. Participants visited key heritage sites like Mysuru Town Hall. They learned about Mysuru’s cultural and architectural importance firsthand. Later, at the Town Hall, heritage expert Prof. N.S. Rangaraju, retired professor of Ancient History and Archaeology from the University of Mysore, gave a lecture titled 'Heritage Structures of Mysuru.' He shared deep insights into Mysuru's historical importance and its architectural wonders. Prof. Rangaraju also interacted with the students, stressing the need to preserve the city's legacy for future generations.
