University of Hyderabad Signs MoU with ICMR-NIN for Joint Education and Research

The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has partnered with the ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition (NIN). They signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work hand-in-hand on education and research. The deal covers joint education and training programmes, faculty exchange, and joint PhD courses. It also includes hosting symposiums and conferences and applying for shared research grants. The MoU was signed by UoH Registrar Devesh Nigam and ICMR-NIN director Dr. Bharati Kulkarni. Vice-Chancellor B.J. Rao and R&D cell director Samrat Sabat were present during the signing. This agreement will allow UoH students to get internships and placements at ICMR-NIN. The Vice-Chancellor expressed interest in setting up mobile food and nutrition testing labs nearer to communities, aiming to make a bigger impact. This collaboration marks an exciting step towards strengthening education and research in nutrition and health.
