Airbus Scores Big with First H175 Order in India, Plus Two ACH160s
January 31, 2026
Airbus Corporate Helicopters signed a deal for two ACH160 helicopters and one H175 with a private Indian customer. The announcement came during Wings India 2026 in Hyderabad on January 31. The customer already owns ACH160 helicopters and will become India’s very first H175 user. This deal marks the H175's entry into India’s civil aviation. The H175 will be delivered in a 16-seat layout in 2026. The two ACH160s will be customized as per the customer's needs and will arrive in 2027. Sunny Guglani, Head of Airbus Helicopters in India and South Asia, said, "This repeat order for the two ACH160s and the first-ever H175 by an Indian customer reflects the maturity that the civil helicopter market is gaining in the country. Both helicopters are ideally suited to support passenger transport and offer superior performance and great comfort."
